- ➤ Angelo State announced its signing class by adding 22 high school athletes (Feb. 5) in a move that underscores its commitment to local talent. The new recruits are expected to boost the team’s performance next season. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ Angelo State University changed its scholarship rules to allow more incoming freshmen and transfers to qualify and added about $1 million to the annual awards for Fall 2026. Students will learn their awards in early February with complete details provided mid-February. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ Texas Department of Public Safety will boost patrols on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 12:01 a.m. until midnight during the Super Bowl weekend to enforce laws and urge fans to drive sober & buckle up.
