- ➤ Angelo State University business students placed in the top eight of 50+ teams at a national innovation contest in Nashville. The four seniors pitched a venture for refrigerated lockers in high-rise buildings — a project that provided them with hands-on experience for their future careers. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ On March 3, Bradford Elementary students swept the top three spots in the 4th and 5th grade division at Region 15 Spanish Spelling Bee. Fourth grader Emmanuel Cuevas won and will advance to the state bee in El Paso, with support from community partners including Angelo State University & HEB. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ O.H. Ivie Reservoir produced two Legacy Class ShareLunkers on Sunday, March 8 and Monday, March 9 when anglers Tristan Marsh and Carl Self landed 13.65-pound and 13.73-pound fish as part of the Toyota ShareLunker program near San Angelo. - ➤ Angelo State’s softball team travels to Oklahoma this weekend for two Lone Star Conference games — against Cameron Friday at 4 p.m. in Lawton and against No. 12 Oklahoma Christian on Sunday at noon in Oklahoma City.
