- ➤ Corrections officers at the Tom Green County Jail reported booking 15 people in the past 24 hours from charges including sexual assault of a child, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, drug offenses, and burglary—430 people now remain in the jail. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ On March 5, the Texas Senate passed a bill that gives parents more say in school library books by requiring school boards to decide on new titles and setting up local advisory councils— the measure passed 23–8 and now heads to the Texas House. San Angelo LIVE!
