- ➤ Angelo State University's Jazz Ensembles program will hold its first Jazz Combo Jam Session of the spring on Saturday, March 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The House of FiFi DuBois in downtown San Angelo. The event will feature a student performance from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and then serve as an open jam session for community musicians—future sessions are set for April 19 and May 3. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ Angelo State University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has earned the SBA’s Excellence and Innovation Award, making it the first in Texas to win the honor and signaling its upcoming trip to Washington, D.C. on May 5 to receive the award; the center outperformed its 2024 goals (76 start-ups, 113 training events, and a $6.75 million capital infusion) to drive local economic growth.
