- ➤ Zero One Taproom at 59 N. Koenigheim St. will host the 3rd Annual Spring Craft Beer Fest tomorrow from noon to 6 p.m.—the event features over 40 beers from more than a dozen Texas breweries with live music and local vendors; entry is free while beer samples and VIP tickets must be purchased at the event. - ➤ Goodfellow Air Force hosted community members on base today (demonstrating its inner workings) to give visitors a close look at how the base operates. FOX West Texas

- ➤ Randy Rogers of the Randy Rogers Band will perform with Presley Haile today at 8:00 p.m. at Cooper's BBQ in Christoval—San Angelo LIVE!'s Tessa Koskovich interviewed him about playing in small towns, keeping his band together, and offering advice for new artists—and he plans to deliver a show that connects with local fans. - ➤ Fort Concho Speaker Series returns in April with free talks at the Fort Concho Commissary from noon to 1 p.m. each Wednesday. Topics include preachers carrying guns, Ambrose Bierce, and San Angelo businesses (sessions begin April 2 and continue weekly through April 30) while guests may suggest future subjects. - ➤ Joe M. Self, Jr. has filed to run for San Angelo City Council District 2 in the May 3 election and is one of three candidates. A longtime member of the Planning Commission from Lake View, he said he will focus on learning city operations in his first 90 days if elected — early voting starts on April 22. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ San Angelo Weather Radio is broadcasting a degraded signal — high winds damaged the transmission tower — making the broadcast very staticky. Meteorologist Mike Castillo plans to meet with emergency management to discuss steps that ensure accurate weather alerts. KWFR

- ➤ On Wednesday in Wall, the Wall teams won the Cotton Patch Relays—girls earned 170 points and boys scored 200 points to beat their closest competitors Jim Ned and Greenwood. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ Briggs Jones led the Wall Hawks at the Cotton Patch relays on Wednesday by winning five gold medals in the long jump, triple jump, 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, and 4x200-meter relay—his strong performance pushed the team to overall victory. - ➤ Central Bobcats secured a regionals berth after finishing second in the district 2-6A boys golf tournament behind Midland High—finishing seven strokes ahead of Frenship. They will compete in the Region I-6A Tournament at Tangle Ridge Golf Club April 16-17. KWFR
- ➤ Two Angelo State softball standouts, Laylonna Applin and Cheyenne Floyd, were named to the national NFCA DII Player and Pitcher of the Year watchlists on Thursday. Angelo State is one of three schools in the South Central region with multiple athletes on the list. San Angelo LIVE!
