On Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. a car crashed into United Express at 3131 Sunset Drive when a 45-year-old driver suffered a medical emergency as a store employee attempted to push the gasless car to the fuel pumps—no one was injured but a large window was broken and the store has closed.
A San Angelo officer was injured when he tried to detain 38-year-old Paul Garcia on the 4400 block of Green Valley Trail at 9:26 a.m. Friday—Garcia resisted arrest, sustained minor injuries, and was taken to Shannon Medical Center while facing multiple charges.
San Angelo ISD will move students and staff in three programs to the former CHS freshman campus at 218 N.
Oakes St. Special Education staff will relocate to the building's second floor — PAYS students and Carver Learning Center students will move to the first floor and annex respectively — while Career & Technical Education courses continue as scheduled.
The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted Thursday morning to endorse the San Angelo ISD Bond 2025—this move aims to boost local industry and support existing businesses while building a stronger local economy.

Starting April 11, Middle Concho and Spring Creek parks will accept only credit or debit cards for entry fees.

Because bad weather is expected in Kingsville this weekend, the No. 4 Angelo State Rams baseball series against Texas A&M Kingsville will be moved; the games will now be played in double headers on Sunday, March 30 and Monday, March 31—changes from the original schedule.
