Corrections officers at Tom Green County Jail reported nine bookings in the past 24 hours—charges include burglary of habitation, evading arrest in a vehicle and driving while intoxicated—and the jail now holds 428 individuals.

Angelo State softball swept a doubleheader on April 6 at ASU's Mayer Field with wins over Lubbock Christian by scores of 7-3 and 4-1 — Cheyenne Floyd threw a complete game and Averie Gunther homered in both games to give the Rambelles a 32-9 overall record and 24-8 in the LSC.
