- ➤ Corrections officers at Tom Green County Jail reported nine bookings in the past 24 hours—charges include burglary of habitation, evading arrest in a vehicle and driving while intoxicated—and the jail now holds 428 individuals. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ Jordan Driver led barrel racing at San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo after riding her 7-year-old gelding Cyrus in 14.04 seconds on Sunday at CRC Roofers Coliseum+She will compete in the championship round on April 18 and hopes to secure top prize and the title. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ Angelo State softball swept a doubleheader on April 6 at ASU's Mayer Field with wins over Lubbock Christian by scores of 7-3 and 4-1 — Cheyenne Floyd threw a complete game and Averie Gunther homered in both games to give the Rambelles a 32-9 overall record and 24-8 in the LSC. ASU will host Sul Ross and UTPB later this week. KWFR
- ➤ Angelo State baseball ended its 12-game winning streak with an 8-2 loss to St. Edward’s on Sunday — five errors led to five runs. The team will try to win the series today with first pitch at 1 p.m. KWFR
