- ➤ Gas prices remain high in Texas as AAA Texas reports drivers in San Angelo pay $4.12 per gallon for regular unleaded and the statewide average is $3.87—7 cents higher than last week—reflecting a persistent rise from last year. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ This week, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department surveyed white bass and catfish populations at O.H. Ivie Reservoir east of San Angelo. White bass numbers increased from 2022 while catfish counts declined, with all specimens sampled showing healthy sizes. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ A San Angelo DPS trooper was honored at a DPS meeting in Austin for his lifesaving actions during a July 4 flood rescue in Tom Green County—he rescued a woman swept from her vehicle and received a Lifesaving Award.
