- ➤ A major crash near Wall on US Highway 87 South and Wilde Road may have caused two fatalities around 10:00 p.m.—both northbound and southbound lanes were shut down due to traffic, according to radio reports. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ Ami Mizell-Flint has served on the board for over 12 years and is running for re-election to the District 4 seat on the San Angelo ISD Board of Trustees — she says clear talk and different views are needed. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Texas Parks and Wildlife Department officials stocked about 600 channel catfish in the Concho River in downtown San Angelo on Friday for the Neighborhood Fishin’ Program, releasing them between Oakes and Irving streets—more fish will be stocked biweekly through October with the next release scheduled for April 25. - ➤ At Friday’s rodeo, three new leaders emerged as barrel racer Kassie Mowry rode 14.01 seconds to beat Jordan Driver and Sophie Palmore, Alberta’s Logan Hay scored 87.5 in saddle bronc riding, and the team of Luke Brown and Trey Yates tied for first in team roping. The rodeo will continue today with shows at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. San Angelo LIVE!
