- ➤ Two fugitives, Otis Babb and Sandra Zaragoza, who fled a February traffic stop in Schleicher County and were sought by the Sonora Police Department, were arrested in Brewster County on April 15 — a tip led authorities to their location and ended their nearly two-month search. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ Angelo State University music students will perform a free concert today at 7 p.m. in the Carr-Education-Fine Arts Building at 2602 Dena Drive—eleven student musicians will play solo works on clarinet and saxophone with piano accompaniment by staff, featuring pieces by Handel, Jolley, Finzi and others. - ➤ Angelo State University launched a new Air Traffic Operations track in its Bachelor of Commercial Aviation program to train air traffic controllers amid a growing national shortage—students are already accepted for the fall semester and will begin specialized simulator training soon.
