- ➤ The Bosque on the Concho River at 330 S. Irving St. in downtown San Angelo is open today through Sept. 1 and offers mini golf, kayaks, volleyball & bocce ball along with other outdoor games. - ➤ The Learning Center in downtown San Angelo will hold a book sale from (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) Saturday, May 3 at (59 E. 6th St.) to support its new tutoring program for children. The one-day event will feature a large supply of donated books from Lamar Elementary. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ Angelo State senior YooJin Choi was one of 40 students chosen to present her physics research at Texas Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol in Austin. She completed her project under the guidance of Dr. Michael C. Holcomb and will graduate in May. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ Two Howard College San Angelo students have been named to the prestigious 2025 All-Texas Academic Team for academic achievement, leadership, and community service—Rodolfo Sandoval attended the ceremony at UT San Antonio while Alondra Ramos could not attend.
