A two-vehicle crash occurred at 2:30 p.m. on May 21 at the intersection of the Loop 306 frontage road and Sherwood Way when a Chevy Yukon and a black Dodge pickup collided, sending a woman and her child to Shannon Medical Center—while the pickup driver was cited.

Flames erupted on Wednesday at Aura Square Apartments on Sherwood Way when a fire broke out around 4:30 p.m., forcing 20 to 30 residents to evacuate as four fire engines, a rescue truck, and an ambulance arrived—firefighters then conducted mop-up operations while investigators examined the cause and police restricted westbound traffic.
