- ➤ Construction is underway at Kirby Park on a new free splash pad in San Angelo — the second in a plan that began with the Unidad Park splash pad last summer. WTX Construction Specialties started work this month while All-Tex Irrigation and Supply manages the project, and the City of San Angelo will maintain both pads when they open this summer. - ➤ City offices will be closed on Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day and will resume operations Tuesday while trash collection stays on schedule. The landfill is closed Saturday, May 24 and reopens Monday and the Municipal Pool at 18 E.
