- ➤ A driver was taken to the hospital Sunday morning after a sedan crashed into a tree near City Hall Annex on South Koenigheim Street near the Koenigheim and West Twohig Avenue intersection—emergency crews from the police and fire departments responded, and the vehicle suffered heavy front-end damage with a dislodged headlight left on the pavement. - ➤ A woman was taken to the hospital with neck pain after a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Moritz on Sunday shortly after 2 p.m.—the other vehicle fled the scene near the old H-E-B. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ Two benefits have been started to support Mallary Campos, a 35-year-old local mother battling triple-negative breast cancer who completed initial chemotherapy and a double mastectomy and will start a five-week course of radiation treatment on May 27 — the community is rallying through a GoFundMe and an online drawing with entries priced at $20 and $50. - ➤ Angelo State University’s track and field teams finished the 2025 season Saturday at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships — the Rams placed eighth overall and the Rambelles 19th while 12 athletes earned All-American honors. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ Angelo State’s bid for a fifth straight College World Series appearance ended Friday when UT-Tyler won game two of the Super Regional 10-9. The hard-fought contest had five lead changes—Rams ended the season at 48-10 with both the Lone Star Conference regular-season and tournament titles—marking a challenging finish to their run. KWFR
- ➤ The Wall Hawks earned a spot in the state semifinals after weekend wins over Jacksboro (6-1 and 2-0) and will face Boyd for a berth in the state title game; game one is set for 3 p.m. Thursday at Abilene Christian and game two for 7 p.m. Friday at Tarleton State.
