Corrections officers at Tom Green County Jail in San Angelo reported that one person was booked in the past 24 hours while eight inmates were released—there are currently 405 individuals held in custody.

The annual American Plains Artists Summer Show returns to Fort Concho on Thursday with a reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Quartermaster Galleries—displaying 72 paintings and several sculptures by 41 artists from 12 states with proceeds benefiting the artists, the association, and the fort.
