Good morning, San Angelo.

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has blamed internal Texas House politics—specifically Rep. Jeff Leach—for blocking a pay raise for judges and district attorneys, including those in San Angelo.

The bill must reach Gov. Greg Abbott’s desk today or the planned increase from $140,000 to $175,000 with a 25 percent raise for prosecutors will not take effect.

San Angelo Clubhouse ended Mental Health Awareness Month with a symbolic 0.5K stroll that showed everyone can take a step toward better mental health—an event meant to inspire progress.
