- ➤ The defending state champion Wall football team will start its fall season at home on Aug. 28 against Canyon West Plains. The schedule features several top-10 ranked opponents, including a week 3 trip to Tuscola and a week 4 clash with Ozona, with some dates still open. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ Wall High School named Jason McCoy as its new head baseball coach and football coach for the fall following athletic director Bryan Morrison's announcement — the Windthorst native previously coached at Bowie and Seymour and now looks forward to guiding the Hawks. San Angelo LIVE!
