Corrections officers at Tom Green County Jail booked 24 people in the past 24 hours, including a registered sex offender, a repeat DWI arrest, and a family violence suspect accused of strangulation + the jail holds a total of 435 inmates.

Texas DPS warned today at 1 p.m. that lawmakers face credible threats at the Capitol during a No Kings protest, with House Administration Chairman Charlie Geren saying law enforcement is using all resources to counter the threat and San Angelo Rep. Drew Darby reporting he is safe—after similar violent attacks in Minnesota that left one lawmaker fatally shot.
