On Wednesday, the Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department contained a roadside grass fire on U.S. 67 South after a trailer tire blowout ignited dry grass.

Neighbors are urged to inspect tires and avoid parking on dry tall grass — steps that help reduce wildfire risk.
