- ➤ Veterans and their families in the Concho Valley now can ride free on Concho Valley Transit thanks to a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance—covering fixed-route, ADA paratransit, and VA medical appointment services. Eligible riders include active-duty members, veterans, dependent spouses and children, and surviving spouses, and they must provide documentation to verify their status. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ The San Angelo Community Band, led by Dr. Constance Kelley, will close its 2025 Summer Series on Aug. 4 at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church at 7 p.m.—the free concert titled ‘Serenade for a Picket Fence’ will feature local musicians performing a selection of pieces.
