- ➤ Governor Greg Abbott has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to activate state resources for heavy rain and flash flooding expected this weekend—rescue teams, doctors, and road monitors are ready to help. - ➤ The Lake View Chiefs led the Snyder Tigers by a score of 28—6 at the half as quarterback Chris Alvizo threw three touchdown passes and the defense forced several turnovers—Snyder scored late but still trailed behind.
