WTAMU art instructor Rob Weingart’s free exhibit The Shape of Attention opens today at Angelo State in the Carr Education-Fine Arts Building at 2602 Dena Drive and will be available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Nov.
13, with a Gallery Talk on Nov. 12 at 3 p.m.

In Week 2 high school football in West Texas, Water Valley upset a top-ranked team and TLCA San Angelo snapped a 23-game losing streak — Wall achieved a historic win over a larger school with standout performers Branson Lacy and Chris Alvizo leading record-setting runs to boost regional playoff hopes.
The Texas Girls Coaches Association released this week’s state volleyball rankings, which feature five Concho Valley schools (spanning Classes 1A to 6A).
