The City of San Angelo approved plans to rebuild Kids Kingdom with a splash pad along Veterans Memorial Drive — design work by Leathers and Associates is set to begin this fall or next spring and funds will be secured before construction starts.

Angelo State University is honoring Western writer Elmer Kelton’s 100th birthday with a free exhibit in the ASU Mayer Museum at 2501 W.
Ave N — it opened Sept. 9 and is available Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Jan. 9.
🏛️ Government
Congressman Pfluger visited West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind in San Angelo today and received the AbilityOne Congressional Champion Award for his advocacy.
He met with staff to learn how the organization offers job training and support for individuals who are blind.
