🎓 Education
Angelo State University's 'Leading the Charge' capital campaign surpassed its goal weeks ago, and the ASU Foundation has elected new board leaders (Chairman Troyce Wilcox, Vice Chairman Phil Gandy, and Secretary/Treasurer Walter Juliff) who will serve two-year terms to guide future growth.

The No. 5 Wall Hawks head to Tuscola today at 7 p.m. for a rivalry game against the Jim Ned Indians after a 55-14 win over La Joya in Uvalde, with standout plays from quarterback Gunner King, running back Gunner Garza, and receiver Evan Boehle.
Angelo State volleyball, ranked No.9, returned to the Junell Center/Stephens Arena to host West Texas A&M & Lubbock Christian in the three-team Lone Star Conference Challenge from Thursday to Saturday.
The team is 8–1 after a Colorado road trip and will play Lubbock Christian today, with another match on Saturday.
The Wall Lady Hawks won the team title at the Coleman Invitational Cross Country Meet on Wednesday in Coleman—runners placed high among 164 competitors.
Menard’s Danni Ruiz and Bronte’s Colton Bilyeu claimed individual wins, helping their schools top the standings.
TLCA San Angelo won a 42 to 0 shutout against Winters on Thursday after ending a 23 game losing streak last week.
Quarterback Jonah Munoz (with 274 passing yards and four touchdowns) led the Eagles as they set a 2 to 1 start and will play next week in Sonora.
