Acclaimed songwriters Matt Hillyer and Zac Wilkerson will perform an intimate acoustic song swap at Arc Light — inside the Clarion Hotel — on Friday, October 10 with doors opening at 8 p.m. and the show starting at 9 p.m. The event will offer heartfelt stories and stripped-down tunes that reflect their Texas music roots.

In September, the Railroad Commission said San Angelo ranked among the top areas for new drilling permits as District 7C received 53 permits and 121 oil completions—statewide, 587 original permits were issued for oil, gas, injection, and other wells.

Goodfellow Air Force Base announced that the inbound South and Pedestrian Gates remain closed until further notice and that all personnel and visitors must use the North Gate, which operates 24 hours a day.

The South Gate now opens only for outbound traffic from 3 to 5 p.m.—the Visitor Control Center and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area resumed normal operations today until 6 p.m.
