- ➤ A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck early Sunday near Westbrook, Texas—about five kilometers west-southwest of town—at 1:08 a.m. local time with a depth of 5.3 km; light to moderate shaking was felt in Big Spring, Snyder, Sweetwater and San Angelo and the USGS forecast a 23 percent chance of a minor aftershock within the next week. - ➤ The No.12-ranked Angelo State football team lost 24-19 to Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday night — the Rams now stand at 4-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play. They will host Midwestern State at home on Oct. 18 during homecoming at LeGrand Stadium — the team aims to improve their record. San Angelo LIVE!
