- ➤ San Angelo drivers pay the highest price for gas — $2.85 per gallon — while the state average is $2.64 as prices fall thanks to lower demand and a switch to winter-blend gasoline. - ➤ Congressman Pfluger said Thursday that San Angelo set a national standard during the federal shutdown by pledging over $165,000 in relief for military and federal workers facing halted paychecks and training delays at Goodfellow Air Force Base.
