- ➤ San Angelo Broadway Academy will move its performing arts programs to a new downtown studio at 106 South Chadbourne Street in January 2026—consolidating its current facilities into one space to better serve over 700 students. San Angelo LIVE!
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Texas Parks and Wildlife stocked the Oakes Street Neighborhood Fishin’ site with rainbow trout as part of a statewide effort to add over 335,000 trout in Texas waters by early March. The site will be stocked again in December, January and February and anglers can keep up to five fish per day—TPWD advises bringing ice so the trout stay fresh. KWFR

- ➤ In October, the median home listing price in Tom Green County dropped to $297,000 from $297,450 the previous month. Homes averaged 1,789 square feet at $167 per square foot and stayed on the market for 64 days — while 472 new listings marked a 218.9% jump from last October. San Angelo Standard-Times

- ➤ Regional semifinal football begins today in San Angelo as the Water Valley Wildcats face the Robert Lee Steers in a state ranked 6-Man game—other Concho Valley matchups feature the Wall Hawks against the Slaton Tigers, Mason against Kennedy, and the Junction Eagles against the Granger Lions, with Richland Springs set to play tomorrow in Dublin. - ➤ The No. 2 Water Valley Wildcats beat No. 6 Robert Lee 50-28 at San Angelo Stadium on Friday—using a key goal-line stand and Landon Lacy’s 60-yard touchdown run to secure their spot in the state semifinals.
