- ➤ Angelo State sprinter William Opare was named LSC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week after he ran 47.07 seconds in the 400-meter at the Crimson and Gold Invitational (recording two NCAA provisional marks); his team will resume indoor track Jan. 16–17 in Lubbock (hosting the Corky Classic).
