- ➤ San Angelo Christian Academy and the Carnes family have set up a scholarship to honor late officer Steven Carnes, with an event on Jan. 9 at 1:15 p.m. at the school (the one-time tuition scholarship offers $862 to active-duty law enforcement families enrolling a student).
