- ➤ H-E-B donated over $102,000 through its Spirit of Giving Fund to give every San Angelo ISD employee a $50 gift card. The donation supports staff affected by July 4 flooding and offers holiday relief. San Angelo LIVE!

- ➤ Chick-fil-A at Sunset Mall is hosting a farewell event with free treats today and will permanently close on Dec. 31 after 45 years serving the community. San Angelo LIVE!
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Federal Emergency Management Agency designated 11 Texas counties (including Coke and Concho counties) as disaster areas following severe storms and flooding between July 2 and 18, making local agricultural producers eligible for USDA emergency loans. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches released this week’s boys state basketball rankings (Dec. 22), covering Classes 6A through 1A and noting two Concho Valley teams with Katy Seven Lakes topping Class 6A. The rankings were announced by the association. San Angelo LIVE!
- ➤ The Mason Cowgirls and Wall Lady Hawks are now the top-ranked teams in the Concho Valley according to state rankings from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches. Mason moved to No. 2 in Class 2A with a 20-1 record and Wall retained their standing in Class 3A. San Angelo LIVE!
